Croatia joined the EU on 1st July 2013 and is committed in time to adopting the euro as its currency. The official currency of Croatia is the Kuna, it’s the currency used in Dubrovnik and rest of the country. It is often abbreviated to KN or HRK (Hrvatska kuna), one Kuna is divided into 100 lipa.
